Grand Mufti of kashmir Said Muslims in India need to demand a separate country and Indians lost it

On Tuesday, vice-chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Personal Board and deputy grand mufti of Kashmir “ Nasir ul Islam” said Muslims in India are being “harassed under various pretexts” and stirred a controversy by saying that Muslims in India need to demand a new country for themselves.

“India is moving on the path of intolerance. Muslims are being harassed on the various pretexts. Sometimes they are being harassed on the false claims of ‘love jihad’, sometimes it is cow vigilantism or triple talaq,” said Nasir.
When asked about the recent shopian incident in which two civilians died, he said India will have to leave Kashmir some day. “India is an occupier in Kashmir. It can’t fool Kashmiris anymore. It has to leave sooner or later,” he said.
